Mean Boys


Patriarchy domesticated men

For their aggression

It trained them to be calculated and cold

Becoming misery and old

Generation after generation

Striving only for unattainable perfection

Without forgiveness 

And unable to apologize

For seeing it it all as weakness

Beating themselves up with guilt and shame

For living to show no meekness


Who am I?

How dare I say this?

I'm just a girl

Similarly fated

Domesticated to love unconditionally

And the world calls me

'Crazy' 

For it

    Saw a meme today;

    "I'd much rather be "too sensitive" than whatever the fu*k has happened to half of humanity"

    Are Empaths those domesticated for codependency/tameness?
    Are Psychopaths are those domesticated for narcissism/aggression?
    Are the rest are wildtypes/controls, with traits of both?

    To me, it sounds like when we bang on about narcissism, codependency and interdependency and how such traits can run through families.
