Life is a dreamlike state
We're not quite awake yet
Life, keeps us living dreams
Nothing's what it seems to be

Questioning the mess we're in
Wondering if we can win
We won't fix these broken wings
If we can't shed our prideful skin

I’m feeling Ishtar's fire rise
Blind, to all the tricks of mind
I am the fire in the night
Blazing through the darkest light

I am being

Life's just a fleeting trace
Mirroring our minds embrace
Dancing under twilight gleam
We wake within a timeless dream

We drift upon the sea of time
Caught between the lines defined
Within this dream, we find our path
The waking world beyond the dark

The veil between what's real and fake
Is starker with a minds black slate
But even in this shadowed scheme
We’ll rise again, masters of dreams

Through the mist, we chart our course
Guided by an unseen force
And in the stillness of the night
We find our way by shrouded light

Whispers from the night's embrace
Lead us to a sacred place
And in this dream, we learn to soar
Unlocking all the secret doors

In the end, when shadows fade
We’ll walk the path that we have made
With every step, a new dawn beams
Awakening from endless dreams

A Transgenic Note

Transgenic mutants  are deliberately deformed, disabled and disordered for animal research purposes. We can create human-animal chimeras, put human DNA into every cell of a mouse, make cells glow green with jellyfish protein, just to be sure, but no amount of human DNA in a mouse will turn it into a human. No matter how much that mouse thinks it might be able to identify with minute aspects of being human, it cannot. It will always be a mutant of a mouse, exploited for biotech gain —  Humanized mice do not get human rights.  Law and language for transgenic animals and other such biotech mutants is important and nomenclature is complex . The breeding, movement and welfare of animals under such procedures must be monitored and regulated for the welfare and integrity of both wild and lab lines.
